About us
WayFind Labs is a specialised AI engineering studio — a small, senior team that takes on a focused number of projects and builds them end-to-end: architecture, code, deployment, monitoring, and handoff. We work remotely with founders and teams across the US and beyond.
Day to day that means stakeholder interviews that surface the real problem, architecture decisions grounded in benchmarks rather than hype, iterative sprints with working software every week, and production deployments that your team can maintain without us. We write the runbook. We set up the alerts. We hand you a system, not a proof of concept.
We keep the roster small on purpose. A studio that takes every engagement turns into a staffing agency, and staffing agencies ship the average of whoever was free that month. We would rather run a handful of projects at a time and stand behind every one of them than fill a pipeline we cannot personally vouch for.
Most of our work falls into a few categories: AI agents that take real actions against your APIs and databases, retrieval systems that answer questions from your internal knowledge without making things up, voice agents that handle live calls, language-model features embedded inside an existing product, and full-stack SaaS MVPs with AI built in from day one.
A meaningful share of what we do is rescue work: auditing, debugging, and finishing AI systems that another team started and could not get to production. Those engagements start with a written diagnosis before anyone talks about a rebuild.
What ties the list together is the unglamorous half of the job. Anyone can wire a model to an API and record a demo. The work that decides whether a system survives is the part that does not film well: evaluation harnesses, monitoring, runbooks, cost controls, and the failure-mode testing that catches the input nobody planned for.
The full catalog lives on the services overview. We scope each engagement to your project and quote it on the first call.
We do our best work for three kinds of buyer. If you recognise yourself here, we are probably a fit.
You have a product and a real workflow to automate, but not the bandwidth to build the AI layer in-house. You want a team that lists the actual stack, hands you the keys, and does not disappear after launch.
Support tickets, manual data entry, inbound triage. You have tried no-code tools and hit a wall. You want plain-English answers, a fixed price, and software your team can run without a vendor in the loop.
An AI feature was built and broke, or never reached production, or hallucinates and nobody can say why. You want someone who has seen the failure mode before and can produce a written diagnosis, not a sales pitch.
We are not the right call for everyone. If the budget is under our minimum engagement, if the ask is a thin wrapper around a model API that a developer could finish in a day, or if you need something live in 48 hours, we will tell you on the first call and point you somewhere better. A page where everything is a yes is a sales page, not an honest one.
We tell you when something won't work before you pay for it. If your dataset is too thin to support RAG, we say so on the discovery call. If a particular model is wrong for your latency budget, we show you the numbers. The job is to solve your problem, not to close a deal.
Everything we build runs in real infrastructure serving real users. We don't hand over a Jupyter notebook and call it done. Every engagement ends with deployed software, a monitoring dashboard, a runbook, and a handoff meeting, not a slide deck.
Full IP transfer at project close. No ongoing license fees to us, no proprietary runtime you're stuck in. You can take the code, hand it to your internal team, or find another engineer to maintain it. We want you to be able to run it without us, and we build accordingly.
The founding team has shipped production AI systems and full-stack software for companies across Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. WayFind Labs is where that work becomes a service you can hire.
Talha Siddique
Co-founder & Principal Engineer
Talha co-founded WayFind Labs to build AI systems that reach production and stay there. He works across architecture and engineering on every engagement — from the first data audit through evaluation, deployment, and handoff — with a focus on the parts most teams skip: eval harnesses, monitoring, and failure-mode testing.
Arbaz Jam
Co-founder & Principal Engineer
Arbaz co-founded WayFind Labs and leads build and delivery across the studio's engagements. He focuses on turning prototypes into maintainable production systems — retrieval quality, cost controls, runbooks, and the release gates that keep an AI feature reliable after it ships.
