Build for the renewal from day one, because here the renewal is the business model. Practically that means: instrument the value story (time saved, errors caught, throughput gained) so quarterly check-ins arrive with numbers; invest in onboarding depth over feature breadth, since a team that fully adopts three features renews while a team that shallowly tried ten churns; build admin visibility for the buyer's manager, who approves the renewal without attending the demos; and respect the support relationship: a responsive fix builds more durable revenue in this market than a flashy release. The MVP scope reflects it: fewer features, deeper adoption mechanics, reporting that makes your champion look good internally. Twin Cities loyalty is real, but it is earned by operational reliability, and the build should be aimed at exactly that.
